Directed by Mor Loushy and Daniel Sivan, the three-part crime series chronicles the epic manhunt of Islamic extremist Osama bin Laden, following his orchestration of the September 11 attacks in the United States.[1][2] It is set to premiere on May 14, 2025.[3]

Background and synopsis

Following the Islamic terrorist suicide attacks on September 11, 2001 against the United States,[4][5] the U.S. launched a worldwide manhunt for Osama bin Laden, the general of the pan-Islamic organization Al-Qaeda who were the masterminds and orchestrators for the said attacks.[1][6][7] American Manhunt: Osama bin Laden further reveals an in-depth analysis and features exclusive interviews from the United States Government, which involves the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and military officials.[4]

American Manhunt: Osama bin Laden was slated for release on March 10, 2025 but later shifted by Netflix due to "scheduling conflicts", much to the platform's subscriber's dismay.[8][unreliable source?][9] It was later moved to May 14 of the same year.[3]
