Joff Bush (born 9 April 1985) is an Australian composer. He is best known for composing the soundtrack for the animated children's show, Bluey.

Early life

Joff Bush was born in Wagga Wagga in the state of New South Wales in Australia on 9 April 1985, as revealed by some social media posts and an article from The Age. Bush also stated that he later moved to Brisbane in Queensland to study at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University as a piano student, where he met Daley Pearson, who later went on to become an executive producer for Bluey, which Bush would also eventually compose for.[1][2][3][4]

Career

Joff started his career in 2010 when he started to compose music for the comedy series The Strange Calls in development, which later premiered in 2012.[5] During that time in the early 2010s, he also composed music for mobile phone software. Later in the decade, he started composing music for other television series such as Snake Boss, Australian Survivor, The Family Law, The Strange Chores, Robbie Hood, and many others.[6][7] Joff won his first award in 2014 for the score for the film A Man on the Edge at the Long Island International Film Expo.[8][4]

Joff started to have his first success with the animated children's television show Bluey after it first aired in 2018.[3]
