UmarJaum (born Muhammad Umar Jabbar on February 1, 2008) is a Pakistani singer, songwriter, music composer, and actor known for his contributions to Punjabi, Bhangra, Indi-pop, and Bollywood music. He gained prominence with his hit song "Kursi" and has since been active in both the music and film industries.^[1][2][3]

UmarJaum was born and raised in Khanewal, Punjab, Pakistan. His father, Abdul Jabbar, a newspaper owner, played a significant role in supporting his artistic pursuits. From a young age, Umar was influenced by his family's passion for music, which laid the foundation for his future career. ^[4]

UmarJaum began his musical journey with classical vocal training before transitioning to contemporary pop and Bhangra styles. His debut single "Yaarian" was released in 2022 and received critical acclaim.
