Draft:Unheard(film)
Unheard is a 2023 Ugandan film which spotlights on the struggles of a widow as she defies cultural and societal norms. Unheard was written and produced by Polly Kamukama, and was directed by Joseph Kenneth Ssebaggala.[1][2]
Plot
The plot of the film follows the story of a young widow, Grace(Jackline Katusiime) in a remote fishing village in Uganda. She intends to inherit her late husband's fishing boat, which is against the tradition in the town. this her decision is faced by opposition, but even despite that, she continues her bid to get possession of the boat.[3]
