WFO is for Ford Europe. European VINs do not contain the model year (it's an American thing), so the VIN does not tell us the year of manufacture. From the model and generation you may get a date range. Stepho talk22:55, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
WMI in separate article
Dairokkan9 has suggested to split out the massively long WMI list to a new article List of common world manufacturer identifiers. I agree. The list is so long that it makes the rest of the article hard to look through.
